The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is set to host a wide range of interesting activities from June 1 to June 2 in Hanoi as part of efforts to help children explore cultural heritages of many countries across the world to mark International Children’s Day.

The museum will allow children to join their parents to discover the Southeast Asian region through various paintings of cultural heritages, as well as finding out about many interesting things such as the national flags, capitals, and currencies of foreign countries.

Furthermore, those who love painting will be able to show their creativity through paintings of Vietnamese national costumes, as well as those from other countries around the world.

Moreover, young art lovers will have the chance to learn to control puppets under instruction given by local artists. Water puppeteers from Dong Ngu ward in Thuan Thanh district of the northern province of Bac Ninh will entertain children through interesting performances.

On June 1 children will explore traditional musical instruments and folk singing through performances put on by Mong ethnic children from the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai.

They will also be invited to join typical folk games from many countries worldwide, such as India, Malaysia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
