Head coach Kim Sang Sik announced a 30-man Vietnam squad on November 18 ahead of the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024, with the competition set to begin in December.
The Vietnam national football team will undergo a 10-day training camp in Gyeongju, the Republic of Korea, starting on November 23, before taking part in the 15th ASEAN Football Championship (Mitsubishi Cup 2024) in December.
The trophy of the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024 arrived in Vietnam, which is a participating country in the tournament, on October 26 as part of the ASEAN Cup 2024 Trophy Tour.
Vietnam will take on Indonesia alongside the Philippines, Myanmar and Laos in Group B of the 2024 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Cup also known as AFF Cup, following a draw ceremony in Hanoi on May 21.
