Purchasing power in the market for the Lunar New Year 2025, known locally as Tet, is forecast to increase by 10% compared to the same period from last year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).
Despite a decline in purchasing power and falling incomes, the prices of some consumer goods and food items continue to rise by 5-10 percent, while the trend of saving money remains the dominant factor in consumer behavior.
