These include Aquaman, involving a swim of two km and a run of 21km; Relay; Half Aqua, involving a swim of one km and a run of 10 km; and Sprint Aqua, a swim of 500 metres and run of five km.
The organising board is now open for Super Early Bird registration, with preferential Bib prices available for athletes.
This year’s tournament will witness the participation of Lam Quang Nhat, reigning Vietnam Triathlon National Champion; Anh Vien, former talented swimmer; and actress Kha Ngan. The trio will serve as ambassadors for the event.
Along with the competitions at the two-day event, organisers will also hold many sideline activities, including talks with famous athletes and celebrity-competitors, as well as music performances.
Aquaman Vietnam is the first and only aquathlon tournament held in the nation. The first season will take place in Sa Vi in Tra Co ward of Mong Cai city in Quang Ninh province and will see the participation of 1,000 athletes.
