The average export price of Vietnamese rice throughout the reviewed period reached US$626 per tonne, an increase of 13.4% compared to the same period from last year.
Data indicates that in November alone the country’s rice export volume stood at 700,000 tonnes, bringing home US$444.9 million.
During the January to November period, the Philippines, which boasts strong demand, remained the nation’s largest market, accounting for over 46.1% of the total exports. Other key markets include Indonesia and Malaysia making up 13.5% and 8.2%, respectively.
Malaysia experienced the strongest growth in value among Vietnam's top 15 export destinations, seeing a 2.2-fold rise.
