Vietnamese cuisine has made a strong impression on many local and international visitors at the 2024 ASEAN Bazaar which recently took place in Caracas, Venezuela.

Taking part in the event, the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela set up a unique cultural space showcasing typical products imbued with the Vietnamese identity, including handicrafts, traditional long dress (Ao Dai), conical hats, and well-known dishes like Pho (noodle soup with beef or chicken) and Nem (fried spring rolls).

Most notably, Indian Ambassador to Venezuela, Ashok Babu and his wife expressed their delight at enjoying Vietnamese coffee and delicacies at the Vietnamese booth.

Meanwhile, Ambassador of Suriname Gustaaf Rasiman and Ambassador of Egypt Karim Essameldin Amin also highly appreciated the organisation of the event by Vietnam and other ASEAN member countries.

They also expressed their desire to participate in the fair under the ASEAN + Bazaar model in the near future.

As part of the event, the Vietnamese Embassy in collaboration with the office of Vietnam News Agency in Latin America introduced the Spanish edition of Vietnam Pictorial and photos of Vietnam's beautiful landscapes.

The annual ASEAN bazaar, which is co-hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela and the embassies of other ASEAN member countries, aims to strengthen cultural exchange and promote the images of the country and regional partners, as well as enhancing mutual understanding and friendly relations with the host country.
