Hanoi FC came second, while third position went to Being FC of China. Manila Digger FC of the Philippines won the best style award.
Pham Hai Yen of Hanoi FC was named as the best player of the tournament; the best goalkeeper award was delivered to Dao Thi Kieu Oanh of Hanoi FC; and Nguyen Thi My Anh of Thai Nguyen T&T was announced as the tournament’s top goal scorer.
Quinley Quezada of the Philippines was crowned as Miss Football. Other football players such as Tran Thi Duyen and Hoang Thi Loan of Hanoi FC, along with Chen Minghui of China, were voted as the runners-up of the Miss Football beauty pageant.
Taking place at the Hang Day Stadium in the capital from October 1 to 7, two foreign teams Being FC of China and Manila Digger FC of the Philippines joined two local clubs Thai Nguyen T&T FC and Hanoi FC to play in a round-robin format. The final match involved a fixture between the two local teams.
During the tournament, foreign footballers took part in a tour around Hanoi, exploring many beautiful sightseeing spots such as the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, and the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
The event is part of activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day (October 10, 1954-October 10, 2024).
