Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lê Thị Thu Hằng, who is also Chairwoman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (COVA), has met representatives of the Vietnamese community in France and attended a ceremony to launch an event honouring the Vietnamese language in Paris.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel, in collaboration with the Israel - Việt Nam Friendship Association and the Open University of Israel, on July 21 organised an online talk on the 70th anniversary of the Geneva Agreement on the Cessation of Hostilities in Việt Nam (July 21, 1954 - 2024), the 70th anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024), and the 31 years since the establishment of Việt Nam - Israel diplomatic relations (July 12, 1993 - 2024).
First Vietnamese singing contest held in Japan
The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan organised the closing ceremony and award presentation for the first-ever "I Love My Mother Tongue" singing contest on July 13.
