The visual storytelling exhibition features works by photographers from Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
It brings visitors on a journey to discover the impact of ocean acidification on life, the human adaptation to ever more extreme heat waves, the deforestation of mangrove forests in Cambodia, and a new surprising symbiosis between shrimps and rice plants. All of these aspects represent hope for local farmers in the Mekong Delta region, an area which is the most impacted by climate change.
The exhibition is expected to encourage people to protect the environment and to minimise the negative impacts of climate change taking place globally.
The event is being jointly organised by local authorities, the consulate general of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City, and the Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV).
The exhibition is free for the public until March 12.
