Filipino famtrip delegation surveys tourist attractions in central region
A famtrip group consisting of over 39 travel firms in the Philippines scoped out a range of tourist attractions in the central localities of Thua Thien-Hue and Da Nang from May 14 to May 15.
The famtrip delegation visited a number of historical relic sites throughout Thua Thien-Hue, including the Complex of Hue Monuments, Thien Mu Pagoda, and Dong Ba market.
In Da Nang, the delegation toured the Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area, Linh Ung Pagoda, Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains), Cham Museum, and Da Nang night market.
Filipino tourists also had the chance to explore Hoi An ancient city in central Quang Nam province.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for the local tourism industry to introduce popular tourist attractions whilst attracting more international tourists to the city, especially those from ASEAN member states.
The activity is taking place as part of a programme to strengthen tourism connectivity among the three localities of Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam.
