A collapse of a steel support structure at the construction site of an underpass on the Tuyên Quang - Hà Giang Expressway has resulted in the death of a worker.
The construction of the 117.5km expressway began in June 2023 and is projected to be completed in 2026, with a total investment of nearly VNĐ22 trillion (US$877.89 million).
Lê Anh Tuấn was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in Đặng Văn Quang's truck sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
