Vietnam is known as one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of coffee, however, it took nearly a century for coffee exports to surpass the US$5 billion mark for the first time in 2024.
Vietnam’s coffee exports exceeded the US$5 billion mark for the first time in the 2023-2024 crop year that lasted from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024.
Vietnamese coffee exports to the Spanish market reached approximately 55,380 tonnes in the first four months of this year, worth US$193.1 million, an increase of 53.7% in volume and 136.6% in value compared to the same period last year.
