On October 28, Vietnam Airlines announced an additional six flights to support passengers stranded by the storm.
Earlier, the airline had added six flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang shortly after the storm. According to the airline’s data, nearly 90 international and domestic flights were canceled due to the storm.
Vietjet and Bamboo Airways also announced extra flights to accommodate passengers impacted by delays and cancellations on October 27.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) allowed four airports in the central region to resume operations, namely Da Nang, Phu Bai, Chu Lai, and Dong Hoi, starting from October 27 afternoon.
