Participating businesses from Vietnam, Germany, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China), Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, the USA, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, and others are showcasing a diverse range of new technologies in the fields of automation, digitalization, and sustainable green transformation.
Notably, VietnamPlas 2024 displays not only sustainable recycling solutions but also a wide range of products, including advanced injection molding machines, modern extrusion lines, improved film blowing machines, precision mechanical bag-making machines, high-performance mixers, industrial cutters, compressors, quality materials, and specialized additives.
These technologies and products are expected to meet the needs of Vietnamese businesses in particular, as well as the international business community, in enhancing and improving the advanced production capabilities of the plastic and rubber industry.
Phan Tuan Hung, director of the Legal Affairs Department at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, said Vietnam’s recycling industry is facing an unprecedented opportunity for development, with the enforcement of the Extended Producer Responsibility regulation that will enable businesses to receive financial support for recycling activities. Therefore, advancements in plastic and bioplastic recycling technology will help to address environmental issues, alongside the growing demand for products made from plastic and resources derived from plastic waste.
According to organisers, with the support of numerous trade and investment promotion agencies, as well as a network of associations, VietnamPlas 2024 is a trusted and highly anticipated annual destination for the business community. Additionally, a series of specialized workshops will focus on the environmental challenges faced by the plastic and rubber industry, especially in the context of Vietnam’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. These workshops will be held throughout the exhibition from October 16 to 19.
This year’s exhibition is being organized the National Trade Fair & Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., along with several trade promotion agencies.
