Artworks by 13 local artists were put on display at the Affordable Art Fair 2024 which was held from October 16 to October 20 in London in the UK, drawing plenty of attention from art lovers.

At the fair, two galleries, namely Hanoi Art House and ArtBlue Studio, showcased a range of Vietnamese artworks, including lacquer, oil on canvas, and water colour paintings.

Vietnamese paintings created by artists Thanh Chuong, Phuong Binh, Bui Trong Du, and Phan Thu Trang all left a strong impression on art lovers in the UK and from around the world.

Hoa Angie, director of Hanoi Art House, said the event had created a good opportunity for international artists, including Vietnam, to show and sell their artworks and promote their pieces to foreign market.

The Affordable Art Fair is a prestigious annual international exhibition held in the UK which boasts a 25-year history. On display at this year’s event were approximately 1,000 contemporary artworks from 100 galleries from the UK and 17 countries and territories worldwide. The event was estimated to have attracted 25,000 arrivals this year.

This marks the second time this year the local artists brought paintings to art lovers in the UK. In May, works by 14 renowned Vietnamese painters were showcased at the Affordable Art Fair which was held in London.
