A total of eight teams have been divided into two groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.
The champion of the event will walk away with a cash prize of US$25,000 and will duly be awarded the title of best team of the SVL.
The SVL is a rebranded esports tournament formerly known as the AfreecaTV Valorant League (AVL).
With a US$80,000 prize pool, the SVL this year will feature a total of eight world-class teams, including VCT champions Sentinels, NRG, Gen.G Esports, DRX, Talon Esports, Bilibili Gaming, Made in Thailand, and Rapid Lofi.
The SVL will feature official broadcasts on SOOP in English, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, and Mandarin.
