Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, the Vietnamese representative at Miss International 2024, is predicted to be the winner during the first pick of the upcoming beauty pageant, as announced by Missosology, the world's leading publication on beauty pageants.

Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, a 21-year-old student from Da Nang, first rose to prominence after being crowned as the winner of the Miss Vietnam 2022 competition.

This comes after the official page of Miss International updated its status with, “Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy is Vietnam's official representative at Miss International 2024! This is the first time that the reigning Miss Vietnam will be representing her dynamic country in Miss International!”

The local beauty is forecast to take the lead among the Top 20 finalists, followed by contestants from Mexico, Peru, the Czech Republic, and Ethiopia.

First launched back in 1960, Miss International is one of the four largest international beauty pageants, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth.

In previous editions, Vietnamese representatives had won high prizes, including Pham Hong Thuy Van who finished as the third runner-up in 2015, Tuong San who was among the Top 8 in 2019, and Nguyen Phuong Nhi who was a Top 15 finalist.

The grand finale of the Miss International 2024 pageant is scheduled to take place on November 12 in Tokyo, Japan.
