“Miss Cosmo Organization is thrilled to announce that Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen will be joining the judging panel for this year’s competition,” the pageant’s organisers wrote on its official page.
Kim Duyen has made a remarkable impact on the international stage. She proudly represented the country in two major beauty pageants, achieving impressive results with a Top 16 finish at Miss Universe 2021 and a notable second runner-up position at Miss Supranational 2022.
Along with her success as a competitor, Kim Duyen has already served as a judge for two prestigious beauty pageants, including Miss Supranational 2024 and Mister Supranational 2024. Her extensive experience and keen eye for excellence will thereby greatly enhance the judging process at Miss Cosmo 2024, it noted.
Beauties from 60 countries and territories worldwide touched down in the nation on September 12 and September 13 as they head to compete in the Miss Cosmo 2024 pageant which is being hosted by Vietnam for the first time.
The semi-final night is set to be held on October 2, with the grand final then getting underway on October 5 at the Phu Tho Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City.
The winner of Miss Cosmo 2024 will receive a cash prize of US$100,000. The organisers will also award only one runner-up title on the final night of the competition.
Bui Thi Xuan Hanh, Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023, is the first Vietnamese representative to compete for the Miss Cosmo 2024 title. The 23-year-old girl stands at 1.71 metres tall and measures 82-60-87 cm. She has actively participated in many charity activities.
