Local athletes secured a total of 34 gold, 23 silver, and 13 bronze medals, topping the medal table.
Indonesia came second with five gold medals, while Thailand finished third with two gold medals.
The tournament initially began on June 24 and lasted through to June 30 with 564 athletes competing for 130 medals on offer.
The event brought together the best athletes from national teams, U19 teams, and U23 teams of participating countries from throughout Southeast Asia. It provided an excellent opportunity for athletes to sharpen their skills ahead of international competitions, including the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand next year.
