Vietnam are scheduled to take on India on October 9 and Lebanon six days later, while India will encounter Lebanon on October 12.
All the matches will take place at 6p.m. at the Thien Truong Stadium in the northern province of Nam Dinh, said VFF.
The friendlies will serve as a warm-up for Vietnam ahead of the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024 due to begin on December 8.
In the latest FIFA’s world rankings, Lebanon climbed two notches to 114th position, two places higher than Vietnam.
Meanwhile, due to poor performance in the Intercontinental Cup this September, India dropped two notches to 126th globally.
Vietnam twice played Lebanon in the qualification round of Asian Cup 2011. Vietnam trounced Lebanon 3-1 in the first-leg match in Hanoi and recorded a 1-1 draw in the away match.
Meanwhile, Vietnam conceded a 1-0 loss to India in a 2010 friendly, and defeated the opponents 3-0 in another friendly in 2022.
The national team will gather on October 5 after Round 4 of the LPBank V.League1 concludes.
