Vietnam set to host Miss & Mister Celebrity International for first time

The grand finale of the Miss & Mister Celebrity International 2024 pageant is scheduled to take place on September 27 in the southern province of Dong Nai, marking the event’s debut in the nation.

More than 80 beauties from across the world will gather in the country from September 18. They will participate in various different activities in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province whilst competing in many sub-contests, including Ao Dai (traditional long dress) performances; as well as national costume, swimsuit, and fashion segments.

The contest’s winner will go on to receive prize money of up to VND3 billion, including a crown worth more than VND254 million.

Truong Thi Thuy Trang will vie for the Miss Celebrity International 2024 crown. The 24-year-old model hailing from Ho Chi Minh City stands at 1.72 metres tall with body measurement of 84-64-94cm.

Doan Bao An will represent the country in the Mister Celebrity International 2024 pageant. The 31-year-old model and actor from Bac Ninh province stands at 1.86 metres tall.

The Miss & Mister Celebrity International pageant was first held back in 2020 by the International Celebrity Pageant Group headquartered in Malaysia. This year marks the third edition of the beauty contest.

The event aims to seek ambassadors who have the goal of promoting tourism whilst protecting the global environment.
