Local garment and textile products are being showcased at Global Sourcing Expo Australia 2024, with the event kicking off in Melbourne on November 19.

The three-day function draws the participation of over 900 manufacturers and suppliers from 15 countries and territories worldwide, including India, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Turkey, and Vietnam.

The Vietnam Trade Office in Australia has collaborated with the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) and domestic enterprises as part of efforts to arrange 10 booths specifically aimed at introducing Vietnamese garment products, thereby helping local businesses to connect with international partners and expand trade connections among them.

Thai Son SP Co. Ltd., Dong Tam Caps Co. Ltd., and Babeeni Vietnam Co. Ltd. are all among the 10 Vietnamese businesses to participate in the occasion. This year marks the second consecutive time they have joined the expo.

The event provides a chance for Vietnamese businesses to promote their products such as jackets, dresses, women, and children's fashion, connect to potential partners and customers, as well as to seek greater investment co-operation opportunities.
