Vietnam Int’l Fashion Week Fall/Winter attracts 16 local and foreign designers

As many as 16 domestic and foreign fashion designers and brands will participate in the Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024, which is scheduled to take place in Hanoi from November 13 to 16.

According to a press conference on October 31, besides familiar local and international faces such as Do Manh Cuong, Duc Hung, Cao Minh Tien, Hoang Hai, Thuy Nguyen, Adrian Anh Tuan, Ha Linh Thu, Frederick Lee of Singapore, and Priyo Oktaviano of Indonesia, the event will witness the debut of new names, including Chula Fashion of Spain, Kwang by Vuong Khang, and the return of young designers Thao Nguyen and Ivan Tran.

Trang Le, president of the Council of ASEAN Fashion Designers (CAFD) and both founder and chairwoman of the Vietnam International Fashion Week, noted that the fashion week, themed “Fashion Evolution”, aims to honour the strong development and accelerated progress made by Vietnamese fashion over the past decade. These efforts will contribute to elevating the industry’s status in the world’s fashion map.

She added that Vietnamese designer Do Manh Cuong will open the event with his latest collection called “Giot Nuoc Thuan Khiet” (Pure Water Drop).

Trang Le also revealed a seminar on consumer trends and global trends taking place in the fashion industry which will also be held within the framework of the event.
