The Vietnamese Embassy in Sri Lanka participated in the International Christmas Charity Bazaar (ICCB) to raise funds for charity and also to promote Vietnamese culture among the Sri Lankan people and foreign communities in the country.

The November 24 event was attended by foreign embassies, representative agencies, international organisations, and businesses from 30 countries and territories worldwide.

The Vietnamese booth attracted a large number of visitors with handicraft products, coffee, noodles, fruit, dried lotus seeds, and many specialties.

Furthermore, visitors had the chance to sample Vietnamese delicacies such as nem cuốn (fresh spring rolls), bún thịt nướng (grilled pork vermicelli), and nộm (salad).

The International Christmas Charity Bazaar (ICCB), which is one of Colombo’s most cherished annual events, is now back for its 2024 edition. With over 40 years of tradition, the ICCB continues to ring in the festive season with its unique blend of culture, charity, and community spirit.

Attendees enjoyed a vibrant bazaar featuring stalls, activities, and performances.
