Việt Nam and Germany launch logo design contest to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations

Ahead of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Việt Nam and Germany (September 23, 1975 - September 23, 2025), the German Embassy in Việt Nam opened a logo design contest for profession and amateur artists.

HÀ NỘI The German Embassy in Việt Nam has announced a logo design contest to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Việt Nam - Germany diplomatic relations (September 23, 1975 - September 23, 2025).

The logo will be used in publications, communications, marketing activities, major events and programs as well as on websites related to partnerships between the two countries.

The main elements of the logo must therefore be the colours of the German and Vietnamese national flags, must include the number 50 and should represent themes of  diplomacy, cultural exchange, people and traditions.

The logo needs to be unique, have a positive impact and needs to have a high recognition value, be concise, have clear colors and shapes, and last but not least, be a modern and durable design.

Professional or amateur designers, artists, design offices, organisations, groups or individuals (over 18 years old) are all eligible to take part.

Entries must be submitted in common formats (JPG, GIF) or as EPS, SVG files to: kultbot@gmail.com

The deadline for entries is August 15, 2024.

First prize is worth VNĐ20 million (US$786) with a round-trip air ticket from Việt Nam to Germany, second prize is worth VNĐ10 million and third prize is VNĐ5 million.

The contest, launched on June 18, is jointly organised by the German Embassy in Việt Nam, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnamese Embassy in Berlin. VNS
