State Vice President Võ Thị Ánh Xuân called for renovating operations of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) at a meeting with its Sponsorship Council in Hà Nội on October 16.
The official, accompanied by representatives of the Support Fund for Cancer Patients-Bright Future, lauded the dedication by the institute’s doctors and workers, and urged them to carry forward the sense of responsibility.
Vice President Xuân said that overcoming post-war consequences is still difficult, especially for AO/dioxin victims with many sequelae, affecting the health, quality of life, and economic conditions of the victims and their families.
Due to the impact of Typhoon No 2 (Prapiroon) from July 22-31, Sơn La experienced prolonged torrential rain over a wide area which led to flooding, flash floods and landslides.
