The Việt Nam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts (VECCA) announces an MoU with local confectionary producer Mondelez Kinh Đô to promote traditional cultural values.

HÀ NỘI — The Việt Nam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts (VECCA) has announced an MoU with local confectionary producer Mondelez Kinh Đô to promote traditional cultural values.

The three-year agreement will be to preserve the cultural values through national festivals known as the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Lunar New. According to the MoU, Mondelez Kinh Đô will sponsor the VECCA hosted Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 festival in Ninh Bình Province in September.

To enhance the value for the children and the younger generation, born into the internet era to be more connected to the local festivals, the sweet brand has been working to create a stronger festival atmosphere among enterprises.

In 2023, the firm launched the idea of ​​'A full day of Mid-Autumn Festival' giving all employees a day off so they could spend time with their families and another 18 companies followed suit.

This year, they aim to have even more businesses involved in the activities, said Anil Viswanathan, CEO of the firm, adding after having a day off for the festival had led to more energised employees.

VECCA’s deputy director Bùi Kỳ Đà said such programme would create a driving force to promote the local culture among young people, make them appreciate the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation and preserve these precious heritages for future generations. — VNS
