Anfrey Sharipov of Uzbekistan won the men’s category whilst Ling Er Choo of Singapore claimed the championship title in the women’s category.
The main race held on November 17 saw athletes from around the world competing in a 1.9km swim, a 90km bike race, and a 21km run.
This comes after the Sunrise Sprint took place on November 16, with the event being a shorter distance triathlon, including a 750m swim, a 20km bike race, and a five km run designed for beginners, with this being a great way to challenge them and prepare themselves for longer distances.
Additionally, the IRONKIDS Vietnam races, consisting of aquathlon and triathlon events for kids aged five to 15, was held to promote healthy and active lifestyles for the next generation.
Furthermore, the Newborns Vietnam Run Out, a three km charity fun run on November 15, was organised in order to raise money and awareness for newborns.
Phu Quoc's race, sponsored by BIM Group, made its debut in 2023. This year marks the second edition of the tournament, attracting many Vietnamese athletes and a diverse array of international competitors.
