The authority said that the review announced in September is the third of its kind launched by the US Department of Commerce.
The reviews will target uncovered innersprings classified under subheading 9404.29.9010, 9404.10.0000, 9404.29.9005, 9404.29.9011, 7326.20.0070, 7326.20.0090, 7320.20.5010, 7320.90.5010, and 7326.20.0071. The product has been subject to anti-dumping duties by the US since December 2008.
According to the authority, sunset review is conducted immediately before the expiry of five years from the date of the official decision to impose anti-dumping duties or from the date of the review results (if the review is conducted on both dumping margins and injury).
Therefore, if the review results show that the suspension of the anti-dumping duty is likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping that causes material injury to the US industry, the duty order will be applied for an additional five years.
In order to ensure their legitimate interests, the authority recommends related manufacturers and exporters to study US regulations and review procedures, while properly and fully implementing the requirements of the US investigation agency, and closely coordinating with the TRAV throughout the process of the case.
