The 2024 Đà Nẵng Asian Film Festival draws moviegoers to the coastal city

The festival aims to establish Đà Nẵng as a centre of film culture and draw moviegoers to the coastal city, support emerging talent in Asian cinema and provide the public with new high-calibre cinematographic works of Việt Nam and Asia at large.

The 2024 Đà Nẵng Asian Film Festival (DANAFF II) takes place from July 2 to July 6, offering numerous first-rate films, and a packed event schedule full of in-depth discussions with international experts and filmmakers from all over the world.

DANAFF II, the second edition of the annual film festival in Việt Nam, is presided over by the Đà Nẵng People's Committee [the municipal government] and co-organised by the Đà Nẵng Department of Culture and Sports and the Việt Nam Film Promotion Association.

The festival aims to establish Đà Nẵng as a centre of film culture and draw moviegoers to the coastal city, support emerging talent in Asian cinema and provide the public with new high-calibre cinematographic works of Việt Nam and Asia at large.
