Four State commercial banks have disbursed a total amount of VND1,234 billion (US$49.3 million) for social housing projects by the end of the second quarter of 2024.
Two social housing projects with 50,831 square metres of floor space were completed in HCM City in the first half of the year, according to a report by the city Department of Construction.
The Ministry of Construction (MoC) has been demanded to coordinate with other ministries and sectors to minimise processes and procedures for implementing social housing projects.
