“Scent of Italy” exhibition introduces finest products of Italian cuisine in Vietnam

A truffle exhibition opened with the theme of "Scent of Italy – Il Tartufo" at Casa Italia in Hanoi on November 27, showcasing the charm, secrets, and significance of one of the finest products of Italian cuisine to Vietnamese people.

The event, organised by the Embassy of Italy in Vietnam, is taking place as part of the ninth Week of Italian Cuisine in Vietnam.

The truffle exhibition takes viewers on a journey to reconnect with the land, with nature, and with the glorious but turbulent history and culture of Italy through multi-sensory art installation and design stations. It also makes use of a virtual reality station, a scent testing station, and a design image station.

The exhibition which is set to run until December 8 provides a chance for visitors to experience the essence of this iconic cuisine through all senses.

Originally launched in 2016, Week of Italian Cuisine is an annual event which is held worldwide in order to honour Italian culinary heritage and culture, thereby spreading the values ​​which are the identity of the country and people of Italy.

Week of Italian Cuisine in Vietnam 2024 brings the theme "Mediterranean Diet and Cuisine of the Roots: Health and Tradition", emphasising a healthy and sustainable eating model.
