Bản Vẽ Hydropower Plant, built in 2009, has a lake bed area of more than 4,500 hectares. Many people in Yên Na, Lương Minh, Hữu Khuôn communes of Tương Dương district, Nghệ An Province have learned cage fish farming techniques and moved here to change their livelihoods.
