The five-day event is being jointly organised by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the Vehicle Importers Vietnam Association (VIVA), and the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM), with the function gathering together many brands, including GAC, Honda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, and Toyota.
Visitors can, besides seeing the latest cars, also get professional advice and participate in test-driving activities. Furthermore, motorcycle booths from Honda and Yamaha Motor will bring new products and breakthrough technologies to the event.
Moreover, hundreds of brands from related industries such as accessories, spare parts, and other related sectors will be showcased.
The event will strive to embrace the theme of “Technology Opens Up Green Future”, which ultimately aims to highlight green energy initiatives and the industry's sustainability and innovation.
On the sidelines, there will be a seminar on the electrification of transport towards green energy transition, providing an opportunity for experts to discuss the trends and potential development of electric vehicles in order to reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment in Vietnam.
The annual VMS, the largest playground for the automotive industry in the nation, was first held back in 2004.
The 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled due to the complicated developments caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It continued to be interrupted in 2023 due to challenging economic conditions.
