Ho Chi Minh City FC to face UAE rivals in AFC Women's Champions League

The result of the draw was announced during a ceremony held by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) on January 8.
The quarter-finals are scheduled to take place on March 22 and March 23, and Thong Nhat Stadium in HCM City will be the venue for the fixture between Ho Chi Minh City Women's FC and Abu Dhabi Country Club.
The semi-final and final rounds of the AFC Women's Champions League 2024/25 will be played in a centralised format from May 21 to May 24.
Earlier in the group stage, HCM City defeated Taichung Blue Whale of Chinese Taipei and Odisha of India, both with a score of 3-1, before losing 2-0 to title favourites Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies of Japan.
The Vietnamese champions, Ho Chi Minh City Women's FC, competing abroad for the first time, secured two wins and one loss in the group stage, finishing in second place and advancing to the quarter-finals.
