Fashion stores offer up to 90% discounts on Black Friday to woo consumers

Fashion stores expect consumers are going on a shopping spree during this year’s Black Friday from November 23 to 29, with discounts of up to 90% on offer.
Many stores in Hanoi downtown are offering discounts specifically for the occasion that marks the start of the Christmas shopping season.
The ultimate aim of Black Friday is for retailers to attract additional customers and stimulate demand for their products.
Some stores are even offering customers huge discounts of up to 90%.
Additionally, a number of fashion stores also seek to take advantage of Black Friday in order to sell old-fashioned items and clear their stock.
In Vietnam, the Black Friday sales last for around a week, with people able to enjoy big shopping discounts from November 23 to 29.
Many retailers offer the same prices of VND99,000, VND149,000, VND199,000, and VND249,000 for each item to attract customers.
Shopping malls across the capital also prepare items for the year-end shopping season.
Sportswear brands apply discounts ranging from 40% to 50% in stores nationwide, with the offer set to last until the end of November.
The annual event provides a chance for many fashion lovers to enjoy big sales when purchasing items from famous brands.
There are discounts on sportswear brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Li-Ning of between 50% to 80% over the seven-day period.
Shoes by Li-Ning are discounted up to 70%, costing few hundred thousand Vietnamese Dong.
Household appliances and electronics items are also given promotions which are among the favourite items this year.
