Vietnamese model Pham Tuan Ngoc was honoured as the first runner-up during the grand finale of the Mr World 2024 pageant which concluded in Phan Thiet city on November 24.

The 25-year-old contestant impressed the judges in the Q&A segment by speaking about the recent efforts of his native Hai Phong city to overcome the consequences of Typhoon Yagi and his wish to spread a positive spirit around the world.

The 1.83m tall model also recorded a number of good results during the three-week competition, including Top 5 Mr World's Beauty With a Purpose Award 2024, Top 17 The Multimedia Award, Top 20 National Costume, and Top 5 talent show.

Jack Heslewood, the reigning Mister World, handed over the Mr World 2024 title to his successor, Danny Mejía Romero of Puerto Rico, on November 24 evening.

Antonio Company of Spain secured the second runner-up title, whilst Felipe Salvador Maria from Angola was named as the third runner-up.

Mister World is one of three major global male pageants organised by the Miss World Organization. The annual contest was first held in 1996, and it returned this year after a four-year hiatus.

This marks the first time that Vietnam has played host to the Mr World pageant. Over 60 contestants worldwide gathered together in the country from early November to compete in the event.
