Local gold ring prices surge to reach new record high on October 17

The price of gold rings Vietnam rose by VND550,000 on October 18 morning to reach a record high of VND85 million per tael, fueled by rising global prices, according to local media reports.

Doji Group bought and sold gold rings at VND84 million and VND85 million per tael during the opening trading session of the day, marking an increase of VND550,000 compared to the previous trading session.

Saigon Gold and Jewelry Company rated each tael of SJC gold rings at VND83.4 million for buying and VND84.5 million for selling, up by around VND150,000 per tael compared to transactions carried out on October 17.

At the same time, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed gold rings at VND83.74 million and VND83.74 million per tael for buying and selling, respectively, up by around VND410,000 per tael compared to the previous transactions.

Meanwhile, gold bars remains stable at VND84 million and VND86 million per tael for buying and selling, respectively.

Globally, gold reached US$2,685.1 per ounce this morning, up 0.4% compared to previous transactions.
