As many as 100 foreign artists will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City to perform at the “Hò Dô” International Music Festival 2024 (HOZO 2024), which is scheduled to take place from December 13 to 15.

At a press conference held on October 15, the organisers, HCM City Light Music Centre and other relevant agencies, also announced that this year they would coordinate with Rock'n'Share to hold a private music night for Vietnamese rock fans on December 15.

The festival is expected to create a diverse and professional music platform for artists to share experience, show their passion and develop their talent, said the organisers.

Furthermore, a campaign on environmental protection will also be launched during the festival.

Activities to warm up the festival will take place over the coming three months. Among them three performances titled “HOZO Inspired Talents” on October 25, October 26, and November 24 will serve to create a playground for young people to show off their talents with total prize money worth VND300 million on offer.

Famous Vietnamese singer My Tam will join around 100 artists from the United States, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, and the Republic of Korea to bring exciting concerts from December 13 to 15.

Each artist will perform in the form of a 45-minute mini concert combined with live music.

This year marks the fourth time that the festival will be held in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2023, the event attracted more than 500,000 audiences and more than 20 million arrivals across multiple online platforms.
