The signing ceremony was held within the framework of the Vietnam Tourism - Cinema Promotion Program organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Hollywood, California.
According to the deal, Vingroup will cooperate alongside Warner Music Group and Indochina Productions to advertise strategic products and introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends through films, music concerts, and videos.
Through the MoU, both sides will work closely to elevate Vietnam as a leading destination for international filmmakers and music video producers.
Specifically, Vingroup is fully committed to supporting Warner Music Group and Indochina Productions' projects that will be implemented at locations within the group's ecosystem, including Vinpearl resorts and VinWonders amusement parks.
Furthermore, the group will provide the two partners with VinFast’s electric vehicles for use in their music and film projects in the country.
The partnership will create a premise for the world's top music stars under the management of Warner Music Group to participate in the 8Wonder International Music Festival and other music events organised by Vinpearl.
Lisa Nguyen, CEO of Warner Music Vietnam, pointed out that Vietnam boasts beautiful natural landscapes and has a great potential to become an ideal location for filming and organising music festivals.
Meanwhile, Nicholas Simon, general director of Indochina Productions, revealed that the company has brought a film crew of “Kong: Skull Island” to Vietnam, noting that with the support of Vingroup, the country will become the filming location for many international blockbusters in the future.
Ngo Thi Huong, representative of Vingroup, said the partnership with Warner Music and Indochina Productions has offered a great opportunity for introducing Vietnamese culture and tourism, as well as Vingroup's brand and products globally, thereby bringing internationally-famous artists and film crews closer to Vietnamese audiences.
