The new Hanoi Children's Palace opened on September 21 after three years of construction.

Located on an area of nearly 40,000 square metres in Nam Tu Liem District, the project costs nearly VND1.38 trillion (USD56.20 million).

Now the country's most modern children's centre, the new Hanoi Children's Palace has an 800-seat theatre, 200-seat 3D-4D cinema, 500-capacity stadium, swimming pool, library and other facilities.

The buildings have modern architecture, which is convenient and close to nature.

The observatory tower stands 68 metres where visitors can have an overview of the city and learn about astronomy.

The domed roof building has a theatre, cinema, and art clubs.

This is among major projects being opened to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hanoi's Liberation Day (October 10).
