Ninh Thuan steps up tourism promotion in the RoK

A delegation of the Ninh Thuan Tourism Association joined a famtrip to Seoul capital and Jeju province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) from September 4 to 8 to ramp up tourism promotion activities between the two sides, according to the Ninh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Nguyen Anh Vu, chairman of the association, said that 29 representatives from travel companies and hotels in Ninh Thuan province conducted a survey on tourism products in Seoul and Jeju in an effort to bring more Vietnamese tourists to the RoK and vice versa.

Simultaneously, the Vietnamese agency also worked alongside representatives from Seoul and Jeju counterparts to introduce Ninh Thuan’s tourism potential and advantages to Korean investors keen on learning about the investment opportunities in the province.

During their stay, the delegation visited a number of tourist attractions in the RoK, including Namsan Tower, Bukchon Hanok Hanbok Village, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Gyeongbokgung Palace historical site, and Nami Island.

Vu revealed that Ninh Thuan will dispatch another delegation to work with the self-governing administration of Jeju in the first quarter of next year as a means of further elevating its tourism to Korean visitors.
