Petrol prices decline for second consecutive time

Retail prices of petrol products were slashed starting 3pm on August 29 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
Accordingly, the price of RON95-III dropped by VND208 to VND21,109 per litre.
The price of E5 RON 92 biofuel was also revised down by VND92 to a maximum of VND20,332 per litre.
Elsewhere, the prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene were capped at VND18,477 per litre and VND19,065 per litre, decreasing by VND299 and VND194 per litre, respectively.
Meanwhile, Mazut 180CST 3.5S was sold at no more than VND15,562 per kilogram, falling by VND194.
For the latest price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to extract the petrol price stabilization fund.
Since the beginning of this year, petrol prices have undergone 34 adjustments, with 15 times up, 16 times down. and 3 mixed changes.
