Da Nang International Airport plans to serve 484 flights for National Day holiday

The 484 flights include 281 domestic and 203 international ones, bringing thousands of visitors to the coastal city between August 31 and September 4, respectively.

Many resorts have already reported an occupancy rate of up to 90%, while that of downtown hotels stands at about 50% to 55%, according to the Da Nang Department of Tourism.

Furthermore, the total number of visitors heading to the central city by rail is forecast to reach nearly 5,800, an increase of 25% over the same period from last year.

The iconic Ba Na Hills, Asia Park, Nui Than Tai hot spring park, and Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot are all anticipated to be the most visited places during the holiday period.

The administration of Da Nang will also hold many activities during the course of the four-day public holiday from September 31 to September 3, including a golf festival, free screenings at Le Do cinema, a boat race across the Han River on September 2, and a cyclo tour to discover Da Nang at night.

In addition, local authorities have ordered beach management boards to work to intensify lifeguard service, public security, and environmental sanitation across the city.
