Daniel Kordan, 35, has revealed his stunning aerial Vietnam series, sharing that he is keen to showcase the natural beauty of the country from a perspective which highlights both its unique patterns and harmonious balance between human activity and nature.
He posts the images to his Instagram account @danielkordan, where he has gained over two million followers and sells prints of his work on his website at danielkordan.com.
Ban Gioc waterfalls in the northern province of Cao Bang is the first picture he has introduced to viewers. Taking photo of the place is difficult to capture due to 'complex regulations around drone usage', which in itself requires 'careful planning', Daniel said.
Another spellbinding aerial image takes tourists to the Quay Son River which meanders through Phong Nam Valley in Trung Khanh, a mountainous district of Cao Bang province. He noted that this country's vibrant terraces, winding rivers, and dynamic coastal lines offered endless opportunities to capture its beauty from above.
The lush rolling hills of the Long Coc tea valley in the northern midland province of Phu Tho reveal a different facet of Vietnam’s beauty, offering a glimpse into the very soul of the country.
One of Daniel's favourite shots is of the terraced rice fields located in Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai province. "The lush green steps carve into the mountainside, showcasing both natural beauty and human ingenuity,” the photographer stressed.
His stunning aerial Vietnam series also bring viewers to tour around many beautiful sightseeing spots such as Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh, Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province, and the Ba Na Hills resort situated in Da Nang.
