The exchange will consist of 22 activities, with the opening ceremony to be held at 19:30 p.m. at Hoi An Park on August 2.

According to the organising board, the event will create an opportunity to popularise and honour traditional cultures, enhance mutual understanding, and affirm the strong relationship that exists between Vietnam and Japan. It will also serve to attract tourists to Hoi An, an ancient city that boasts a long history, diverse culture and traditional beauty and charm.
