Unique national costume for Vietnamese representative at Miss Supranational 2024

Lydie Vu has released several images of a brocade outfit which she will wear during the national costume competition at the Miss Supranational 2024 pageant currently held in Poland.
In the national costume segment held within the framework of Miss Supranational 2024, the Vietnamese representative will don a brocade costume called "Cat Cat" created by designer Tang Thanh Cong.
The costume draws inspiration from the beauty of Cat Cat village in Sa Pa town in the northwestern mountainous province of Lao Cai.
This outfit features the beauty of the northwestern region’s culture, with the brocade being used as the main material.
Lydie Vu, 31, stands at 1.76 metres tall with body measurement of 83-62-93 cm. She is notable for having clinched a Top 6 finish at Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, duly being chosen to represent the nation at the Miss Supranational pageant this year.
Miss Supranational was first held back in 2009. Since its launch it has developed into one of the most prestigious beauty contest in the world, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth.
This year marks the 15th edition of the pageant, featuring the participation of 72 contestants from across the world. The beauty contest’s final night is scheduled to take place in Poland on July 7.
The French Vietnamese beauty is expected to make a positive impression through her participation in the international contest.
