Petrol prices revised up in latest adjustment

Accordingly, the retail price of RON95 climbed to VND23,552 per litre, up VND542, while that of E5 RON92 rose by VND447 to VND22,461 per litre.
Meanwhile, diesel 0.05S and kerosene were sold at VND21,176 and VND21,216 per litre, up VND487 and VND602, respectively. The price of Mazut inched up by VND88 to VND17,534 per kilo.
In this price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to use the petrol price stabilization fund.
Since the beginning of this year, petrol prices have undergone 27 adjustments, with 13 times up, 7 down, and 7 mixed changes.
Experts say, petroleum prices in the past week were impacted by factors such as escalating tensions in the Middle East, high oil inventories in the US, and the prolonged military conflict in Ukraine. These factors caused world petroleum prices to fluctuate in recent days, primarily on an upward trajectory.
