Da Lat Railway Station opened in 1938. The station's three roofs were designed to represent the three peaks of Da Lat's iconic Lang Biang Mountain.

Largely unused since the railway was abandoned during the later years of the American War, it returned to limited service in the 1990s with the reopening of a 7-kilometre section of track leading to the nearby village of Trai Mat.
The station, dubbed the most beautiful train station in Vietnam and Indochina, has long been a tourist check-in spot. It has been recognised a national cultural and historical heritage since 2001.

The Da Lat Night Journey was launched last week. It links Da Lat Station and Trai Mat Village and explores the beauty of Da Lat at night. Upon request, passengers can also enjoy music and a dinner party.
The night trains run from 6.15 pm to 9.20 pm every day.
The Vietnam Railway Corporation will manage and operate Da Lat Train Station.
