An art programme in Moscow on July 2 will kick-start the event, featuring Russian and Vietnamese classical pieces of work.
Furthermore, traditional Vietnamese musical instruments such as the bamboo flute, T'rung, and monochord will also be introduced at the event.
The highlight of the festival will be the screening of Vietnamese films which seeks to give Russians the chance to gain greater insights into Vietnamese culture.
A seminar will be held with the participation of officers and representatives of the Vietnamese and Russian tourism companies in an effort to promote tourism between the two countries.
The event, part of regular cultural co-operation activities by both sides, offers a chance for people of the two countries to gain a deeper understanding into each other’s cultural identity and artistic heritage.
Vietnam and Russia have maintained the organisation of cultural days over several years to help further strengthen the comprehensive relationship that exists between the two countries and their citizens.
